What happens if I don't have enough credits for a campaign?

If you initiate a large SMS campaign without sufficient credits to cover the estimated cost, the following occurs:

  • Campaign is Blocked: The system prevents you from sending to the entire list. You must have credits to cover the full cost for all selected recipients. See SMS Credits Overview to learn more about how HelloSMS charges for SMS.
  • Warning Provided: When you attempt to send, you receive an immediate warning about the credit deficiency.
  • Partial Sending is Blocked: If the actual cost unexpectedly exceeds the initial estimate (e.g., a long personalized field increases the number of segments) and your credits run out mid-send, the system immediately blocks any remaining unsent messages.

The system protects your account by blocking the entire campaign until you add enough credits to cover the full, estimated sending cost.
