Top Up Your Balance (Card vs. Invoice)

This guide explains how to purchase SMS credits on the HelloSMS platform, outlining the two primary payment methods: Card Payment and Invoice Payment. You will also go through a step-by-step on how to purchase credits.

HelloSMS is based on a prepaid model: you purchase SMS credits in advance.

You can top up your balance using two main methods:

• Card Payment (Immediate credit availability)
• Invoice Payment (Credits available after payment confirmation)

Only some accounts have both options available. If Invoice Payment is not enabled, you can contact support to request activation.

Purchase SMS Credits

To top up your balance, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Balance section on the top-left of your dashboard.
2. Select Top Up Balance.
3. Select a payment method:
   • Pay with card

   • Pay by invoice

     The options that appear here will depend on what you have set in Account Settings. See Review Payment Methods to learn more.

4. Select one of the preset amounts or enter a custom quantity (minimum 100 SMS).

   The prices below apply to the Premium account plan. For a complete and up-to-date overview of all pricing options, see the HelloSMS pricing page.

   • 100 SMS – 50 öre each
   • 1,000 SMS – 45 öre each
   • 10,000 SMS – 37 öre each

   • Custom amount (minimum 100 SMS)

     All prices are exclusive of VAT.

     For custom amounts ("free amounts"), the same tiered pricing applies within the Premium plan:

     • From 1,000 SMS → 45 öre each

     • From 10,000 SMS → 37 öre each

       Additional discounts may be available for large purchases (typically 200,000 SMS or more). These discounts usually apply to invoice payments due to third-party payment processing fees.

5. Choose between Card Payment or Invoice Payment.
6. Proceed to complete the payment based on your chosen method.
7. Select Pay.

After completing these steps, the purchased SMS credits are added to your balance based on the selected payment method.

Payment Method Procedures & Credit Availability

Choose the procedure that best suits your cash flow and desired credit speed.

Card Payment (Recommended for Instant Credits)

This method ensures you receive your SMS credits instantly upon successful payment.

Invoice Payment (For Billing & Large Volumes)

This method is ideal for managing larger transactions and integrating with your company's standard billing cycle.

By selecting the appropriate payment method, you can efficiently manage your prepaid balance and ensure you always have the credits you need for your messaging.
