Manage Scheduled Messages

You can schedule SMS messages for future delivery to maximize impact. Scheduling helps ensure your content reaches recipients at the optimal time. This guide explains how to schedule a message, view upcoming sends, and manage scheduled messages before they are delivered.

To send an SMS at a future date, follow these steps:

  1. Go to New Message.
  2. Enter your message in the Write your text here field.
  3. When you finish creating your message, select the Send Later option.
  4. Choose the date and time you want the message to be sent. Only future dates are available, and the system suggests logical default sending times.
  5. Click Send SMS.
  6. Review the scheduled date and time.
  7. Select Send message.

Your message is now scheduled and appears in the Scheduled SMS section.

View Scheduled Messages

You can go to the Scheduled SMS section in your dashboard to view all upcoming messages.

The list shows:

  • Message content
  • Scheduled date and time
  • Recipient Count, indicating how many recipients are included in each planned message.

Edit or Cancel a Scheduled Message

Scheduled messages cannot be edited directly. To make changes, you must convert the message back into a draft.

Convert a Scheduled Message to a Draft

To edit a scheduled SMS:

  1. Locate the message in the Scheduled SMS list.
  2. In the Actions column, click the action menu (⋮) next to the message.
  3. Select Convert to Draft.
  4. Click Convert to Draft again to confirm the action.

When you convert a scheduled message to a draft:

  • The message is removed from the Scheduled SMS list.
  • A new editable draft is created with the same content and settings.
  • If opt-out text was enabled, you may need to review or remove it after conversion.
  • A Go to Drafts button appears, allowing you to quickly open and continue editing the draft.

After converting the message, you can update it and reschedule it, or save it as a draft for later use.
